2019 Mazda 3 Sedan In depth Tour Interior and Exterior

Hey, guys. This is a walk around
the all-new 2019 MAZDA 3 sedan. I’m sorry for the background noise. Reason being
because this dealership is right next to a main road. So I do apologise. Anyhow… Towards the front you’ve got your headlights,
as you can see. It’s quite nice. It’s also blacked out as well.
It’s also a really nice touch there. Got some nice chrome that kind of surrounds
just the outside of the headlight here. Also carries on all the way around
the front fascia as well. Got a quite wide grille as well. It’s a kind of nice sort of pattern over here. Got a flush badge, which actually
houses the adaptive cruise control. It’s also a really nice way to hide it,
as opposed to having a little box that you see on some manufacturers. This car has a fuel consumption
of 6.1 litres per 100 Ks. It’s also, as I mentioned,
a 2-litre engine, sedan. Urban 7.6, extra-urban 5.2. Show you the engine. SkyActiv-G. New Mazda 3 is built in Japan,
in case you’re wondering. 2-litre engine. Battery. It’s quite a big boot…
I mean, big bonnet. Show you the wheels. See the wheels. Now, the tyres are Bridgestone tyres. Bridgestone… It’s actually a new model.
I actually don’t know exactly… Looks a bit different…
Oh, there you go. Turanza T005A tyres. And they’re made in Japan. It’s actually
a really new design. I actually haven’t seen this. See, they’ve got this kind of
nice little pattern over here, and they’ve got the Bridgestone first letter B
embossed on the side here. Also the tread looks a little bit different,
you can see. Very nice. In terms of the tyre size, it’s an 18-inch tyre,
which is quite interesting. Very nice detail. You can see the chrome here,
also very nice. This detail. Indicator’s integrated into
the side of the mirror there. It’s a bit hard to see,
but I’ll show you the rear of the car. Because it’s quite close to the window. It’s actually pretty nice, the sedan.
You can see the tail-lights, also quite nice. I quite like the detail inside the rear of
the tail-light there, you can see. Pretty cool. The new font. Mazda 3. SkyActiv-G. Got four parking sensors
integrated into the rear bumper there. Got a rear backup camera as well. Got dual exhausts. Oh, OK. I was actually wondering where
the boot button is, but it’s right there. So it’s actually a wide opening,
which is good. And it’s quite large.
Hard to see ’cause of the… Very nice. Nicely carpeted. It’s very big.
A lot bigger than I thought it would be. You got a space for the spare tyre,
and the toolkit. I’m very impressed.
It’s actually very big inside. It doesn’t look like it on the camera,
but when you see it in person, it’s very big. Quite impressed. Got these two handles here.
If I pull this… and I pull this one as well… these seats… A bit hard to do it from here. I’ll just let them… There’s a car reversing there
so it makes it a bit harder. Seats do actually fold down flat. So you can see the seats
actually fold down completely flat, which is also a nice touch. Makes it easy to slide large items across. Also see in here. So it’s a very big opening, you can’t actually see.
And it’s lots of space here. Also the carpet over here is very nice as well.
Very nice detail. Just a bit hard to see. Let’s have a good look here,
better look here. Very nice. So here’s the interior of the all-new Mazda 3. You can see
there’s a little movie that plays. Very, very cool. This is the interior. Very modern. Towards the front, a little bit hard to see,
you’ve got your gauges. Rev counter towards the left,
a full LCD display cluster in the centre, and you’ve got a temperature gauge
and fuel gauge for the engine. And I also like the little font that they’ve done there.
It looks very premium-looking, very elegant. Steering wheel’s on a bit of an angle,
but, nevertheless, you’ve got good bolstering, you can see here. Black stitching. Sorry, grey stitching, in a X-pattern,
so you can see this sort of shape here. Very nice detail with excellent bolstering. Got paddle shifters. Minus, plus. You also have your wiper controls to the left. And your headlight and indicator
controls to the right. As you can see,
the build quality is… (SOLID CLICKING) Very good. Got your controls here. You got redesigned buttons,
so it actually looks very nice. So you got your volume controls here. Source. Hands-free telephone. It’s all very premium. Lane-departure warning. You can adjust the speed, the distance,
when you’re on the freeway, which is quite useful. So when the car slows down,
it will maintain a safe gap. And you can also adjust that distance
in case you want a bit closer or a bit further away. And then you got your cruise control settings
to actually set the speed. Other features: stop-start, temperature control, and you got these additional buttons as well. Also I’ve noticed
you got a bit of storage here, to hide small candy wrappers
or whatever like that. So all soft-touch here.
Soft-touch rubber here. Kind of looks a little bit like leather. Got a vinyl… sort of vinyl over here as well. This brown stitching. Got some more of that rubber
I mentioned earlier. Now, you got the display which is
kind of buried in a little bit over here. It’s quite nice. I don’t have the key so I can’t exactly turn it on,
which is rather unfortunate. And the vents are quite…
placed a little bit differently. You can see they’re kind of
placed around all the way here. And you got these two here. Pull this little toggle here.
Got your glove box. It’s all hard. Got your air-conditioning. Sorry, climate control. (RATCHETING) (RATCHETING) Little LCD display cluster. Volume. Front and rear demister. USB. Got some more storage here. Got two cup holders. I don’t have any drinks, unfortunately, today
to actually show you the sizing, but you probably could fit a coffee cup or… Probably wouldn’t be able to fit a 600ml bottle
’cause I feel it might just touch about here, but coffee cups should be fine. I notice the plastic trim has
a little bit of a different pattern too. I don’t know if you can see,
it’s got this little… sort of printing. I don’t know if you can see. Like you’ve got gloss black and you got
this sort of textured finish underneath. It’s a bit hard to see,
maybe ’cause of the camera. Oh, there you go.
Very cool detail. Got a vinyl shift boot.
Also very nice. Different modes. Sports.
(CLICKING) Again, buttons feel very nice. Controls for your radio.
Doesn’t work without the key. Couple of shortcut keys. Home, back. I kind of like this sort of matte-black finish. (RATCHETING) Got some stitching here. Vinyl armrest, which is adjustable
so you can go back, forth, however you choose. You’ve got… an SD card, a USB port, a 12-volt / 120-watt power outlet. And you’ve got a divider and some storage,
which is also good. Here’s the seats.
Very cool-looking seats. Lots of different materials.
Got like a lighter brown finish. Looks kind of red on the camera
but it’s actually brown. And it’s actually really hard cloth.
I’ve actually noticed how hard the cloth is. Very hard cloth, as you can see.
Good support. It’s also ventilated pretty well as well,
so when you’re sweating on those hot days. Very cool. Sunglass holder. And another vanity mirror. Another one this side. Interior illumination. Show you the door guards as well. Got a thin layer of rubber here. Some more vinyl. The handles look very cool. Got some more cloth here. All your switches, all look redesigned. I kinda like how this is an individual piece.
Very cool. Got some storage here. Show you the rear seats. Door close. Then the same brown stitching here, and that chrome
that kind of continues all the way down here. Show you the rear. Did mention the seats do fold down, nice and flat. The seat is a bit far back,
so it’s probably not a very good example. Well, leg room’s pretty good,
but obviously the seat’s a bit far back. You do have a centre armrest. With two cup holders. Got, again, that same pattern as the front. You got a bit of brown stitching, and in that
same sort of interesting little pattern there too. Got tether points for your baby booster
if you’ve got small children. Also very nice.
You can see the headrest. Visibility is not too bad as well. You got a large transmission tunnel here,
but I’ll forgive it ’cause you do have space to keep your feet,
so it doesn’t obstruct the other two passengers. Just show you the dashboard
from the rear seat. Sorry about the steering wheel.
I hope it doesn’t give anyone OCD. But very nice.
Nice, very modern-design interior. Very nice. Pockets here. Ooh, I forgot to push this a bit forward. Rear vents. It’s also very nice. I think the US models don’t get rear vents,
which is interesting. I think some people complained about that
on the hatch version, when I did the video on that. Again, I don’t have any drinks
to show you the storage, but you can see you got some storage here,
which is also good. Got some nice gloss-black trim. So, seats, you can’t exactly
fold them from the inside, unless there is a button,
but I actually have not… which I don’t really know of, but you just pull the little toggles from the boot
and the seats fold down, so… if you do know, feel free to let me know
in the description below. Got some rubber here. Padding. Very nice. The sedan looks very nice.
Actually really like it. Well, that’s the walk around
of the all-new Mazda 3 sedan. This car is for sale at Penfold Mazda. I’ll leave the details in the description below,
in case you’re interested in purchasing the vehicle. I’m sorry for the mistakes with the video. I only get to take this in one take,
so I do apologise, and also I don’t get a chance to edit it,
with the background noise and everything. But I hope you enjoy this video,
and if you like my content, feel free to like and subscribe.
Thanks for watching.
