I’m Jack Broadley Dunn and I study interior design at Cambridge School of Art. My project was a study of people within space, and the narrative journey that they take within a space. The space given to the 3rd-year designers was Waterstones in Cambridge. My ideas came from my small and medium projects I kind of looked at the way people interact between two floors. I created a view-tube so that you could see people downstairs. The idea behind that was to kind of like expose the user and make them think about how creepy it is to like post pictures of yourself on social media without thinking about the consequences. And then this kind of progressed to the final major project which then became the Kandinsky Composition Gallery I created the layout of the gallery and the furniture by extruding certain aspects of his artwork and making them three-dimensional and functional. I feel like my own design language and what I think about design constantly evolves.
