Father of Lights Official Teaser Trailer

Father of Lights Official Teaser Trailer

Let this be recorded for
generations to come so that people yet to be
created may praise the Lord that He’d look down from
heaven to the earth, to hear the groans of the
prisoners, to set free those who were
doomed to die. God is good. He’s extremely good. Everybody wants a king
like Jesus. If we’ll represent Him well, they’ll want His body too. He doesn’t expect you to come all clean and all shiny
and all perfect. He expects you to come to Him the way you are before you
know Him, as an orphan. Don’t be deceived. every good and perfect gift
is from above coming down from the
Father of Lights. He never changes or
casts a shadow. He chose to give birth to us
by the word of truth. and we, out of all creation, became His prized possession. I will not try to be
politically correct. Simple, the line has been
drawn in the sand. Jesus is the only way. I’m ready
to die for this statement. But then, how you convey the
way, is only through love. He’s coming for you. He’s coming. He’s here.

  1. Brilliant production on the trailer, I really look forward to seeing this film. I am a non Christian, but this actually got me thinking! Can't wait!

  2. Yes, i don't believe that would be the main question on this film, but that is pretty much what the trailer is selling, in my understanding of course.

  3. So god was being good when he committed the largest genocide in the history of the world? Good when he allowed the devil to torture Job in order to win a personal bet? Good when he sent bears to maul 42 children to death for making fun of a bald guy? Good when he created sin in the first place, only to punish us for it?

  4. I saw the video today. Powerful!!! I can't wait to get a copy for myself to share with the people I know. Thank you for your obedience to God and for showing us some of what God is doing throughout the world to touch people with His amazing LOVE.

  5. Apparently you never did either. Look at His law he commands for the Israelites – they betray his principles of justice, love, mercy, compassion (especially for the weak and oppressed), non-materialism, yet complete fairness and understanding of how dangerous pride and sin really is. Read Deuteronomy for yourself.

  6. These questions are loaded, posed rhetorically.
1.The people who died in the Flood were completely degenerate and would only worsen. And, their lives belonged to God anyway.
2.Job grew closer to God through that. And, a point of the book is, faith is independent of whether we have hardship or plenty.
3.Look up different translations- it was a gang of young boys. That idiom meant, "Go to "heaven" already!" threatening Elisha's life.
4.He gave us free will. We actualized sin rather than good.

  7. What is free will if god knows everything? God created the world, and knows exactly how each of us will turn out. He knows who will be evil before they're born and he created them that way. And who cares how old they are…they were killed for calling making fun of a bald guy. You say Job grew closer to God because that's what the Bible says, but any real human would be a little angry at having his entire family killed. And the people who were killed were nearly every human on the planet.

  8. God tortured Job and killed his family to win a bet with the devil. God was responsible for the largest genocide in history. God sent bears to maul 42 children to death for insulting a bald guy. God requires a father to display his daughter's hymen-blood soaked underwear to the entire town to prove she's a virgin on her wedding night, and says she should be stoned to death if she isn't. God created sin in the first place, and punishes us when we commit it.

  9. God had 42 children mauled to death by bears because they insulted a bald guy. God tortured Job to beat the devil in a bet. God killed almost the entire earth's population. God requires a father to display his daughters hymen-blood soaked underwear to the entire town to prove she's a virgin on her wedding night. God created each person how they are, even the evil, and then punishes them for it.

  10. so bassicly the christians say that without god we are to stupid and retarded to tell the differends between good and bad?

  11. 1st, God did not create people with evil natures already -read Gen 1. We do have free will, despite God's omniscience. It's like how, if you know I'm going to steal your cookies, & I know better, it's still my fault if I steal them, because I could have chosen not to. No, they were killed for threatening the life of God's prophet and thus Israel receiving God's saving word. Your last sentence is true, but does not contradict what I said. Please differentiate between killing and murder: justice.

  12. Look up Deut 22:13-20. Showing bedding proof of virginity is only required if the bride is accused. What husband would do that?
What is your proof that God created even the evil in a person? & by the way, if you read closely, much of the punishment of sin is by letting us fester in its consequences. And anyway, he himself took the punishment for us and redeems us – we just have to totally trust in Him.
Rebuttals to other sentences are in other below comments.

  13. No, look. God created everything, right? Even if he didn't design us each individually, he knew exactly how each of us would turn out. He knew our personalities, he knew the circumstances we would grow up in, he knew how reactions in our brain that dictate ever action we take and thought we have before we even existed. It's our decision to make, yes, but he knew, based on our environment and personalities, that we would make those exact decisions that we do. God is responsible for who we are.

  14. And what is the quote in the Bible you have that says they threatened him? What I've read says they say "Go away, Baldy". And that's it…mauled by bears.

  15. Only if the bride is accused? That makes it better? It's sexist as hell. And my proof? God created everything. Even if he didn't create us one by one, he started the universe and knew how each of us would turn out. He knew our personalities and how the chemical reactions in our brains would cause us to react to each and every situation in our lives. He knew who would be evil and who would be good.
And took the punishment? Yeah, he came down to earth to forgive us for the sin he gave us.

  16. Read my rebuttals to them. I used to be a Christian myself, so I have some idea where I'm coming from. I prayed almost every night from the time I was able to speak until I was about 20. I never felt anything. I was a good person, a good Christian, but I never once felt like there was someone on the other side. So I stopped. And thus began my journey to agnosticism and then atheism. The more I read, the more I realize I was right. If the God of the Bible is real, it's his own fault I left him.

  17. "I was a good person, a good Christian"
"The more I read, the more I realize I was right"
You just said why you left God and never had any experiences with Him.
You just descibed the midset and philosophy of an evolution/psychology-religious person

    Romans 1:21-22
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

  18. Evolution/psychology-religious? You want to tell me what that even means?

You'd think if I were going to have an experience, it would have happened before I decided everything was bullshit. I mean, it's not like it's my fault I stopped believe. I can't choose what I believe. At some point, it just stopped making sense. If it doesn't logically follow, it's stupid to continue believing.

And yeah, nothing like a religion that tells you that your own logic is too stupid to refute it, so don't try.

  19. i'm Muslim and i believe Jesus is coming inshalla but anti Christ will come first and lot of people will follow him except Muslim..

  20. zachj589,
What I mean is that evolution and psycology type thinking is a religion. It fits in every way, except the god is yourself.
God loves you a lot, I know that. To say that you can't choose to believe that is a lie. We choose what to believe every day. There is almost nothing that can actually be proved with our reasoning. If you stopped believing in God it isn't His fault. It's because you let your thinking take you for a ride.
I have experienced many miracles and encount

  21. No, I can't choose to believe because it doesn't make sense to me. It's called Pascal's Wager. Look it up. Saying I can choose to believe is like saying I can choose to believe the sky is orange when I know it isn't. I don't choose to believe. I simply do because they make sense.
And again, yeah, you call it "letting my thinking take me for a ride." I call it using logic and reason. The bible does not follow logic and reason. It's got hundreds of contradictions and some pretty evil shit.

  22. If we think that we cannot choose to believe then it is an attempt to absolve ourselves of our sense of accountability and responsibility. The Bible makes more sense than anything else ever written, if you choose to believe it. If you fight it with your own understanding, then it will be foolishness to you. The Words written in it are spiritual in nature, not carnal. My family has prayed for 3 different family members and seen them miraculously healed from terminal cancer. Just 3 days ago my wi

  23. can someone please send me this movie? i dont have money to watch it. and i would really appreciate it. God is good i know ill see it eventually 🙂

  24. If the incidents they recorded are untrue, it is indeed brainwashing. If they are true records of what happened they are evidence of God's work in the world.

  25. Come on Jesus, So fun to see people affected by Daddy God`s Love. Healing and deliverance are common for us "Veien Bibelskole" students (Norway) freedooooooooooooooom!

  26. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations Psalm 100:5

The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness Exodus 34:6

  27. Is that supposed to mean something to me? What's that got to do with all the atrocious and evil shit in the old testament?

  28. This movie is about knowing God. Knowing Him changes lives, Wherever He is truly received and loved things changes in us and around us. Jesus prayed "Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven." If we don't know God then we have no idea of what His kingdom really is and it is so much more than just being good.

  29. "Jesus is the only way… I am ready to die for that statement!"

I don't know what kind of absurd rationale it takes to say this, mean it and still smile. But I sadly know this line of thought is plaguing the minds of our society. The saddest part is this statement fits into so many cultures just by changing the first word/name.

  30. I wept through the first two movies and this preview. I was once in WitchCraft, and have been delivered from it. I no longer need the 20 pills a day to mask the diseases… because I have none. Lookup my testimony "Revival brings salvation and remarkable healing" I'm ever grateful that my God healed me of all my infirmaties: Autism, ADD, Asthma, Anger Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Chemical Imbalances, Depression, Epilepsy and Food Alergies. My God is an Awesome God!

  31. It's the same line of thinking that a parent has for their child when they rush out into the street and push their child out of the way to keep them from being hit. It is called "Love". People will climb the highest mountains, slay any dragon, and travel all over the world for Love. Jesus is "Love." His Love is pure, forever, without limits and has no strings attached. Often times, people abuse Love and don't use it correctly… but He never does.

  32. Anymore I'm finding it harder and harder to meet anyone who isn't enveloped in the ways of society or tied up in the teachings of false teachers like Bill Johnson. It really sucks.

  33. Good has nothing to do with turning to Jesus, no one can be good. The point is to fill that empty hole inside ur heart that we all have, including you, if ur honest with urself. And to have a personal relationship with your creator. like wanderlust said, watch the movie, and ur opinion will go out the window when u encounter truth.

  34. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.

  35. God created an awesome work in me and many others. He's baptized me in His Love, now I'm trying to get to the measure of love He showed me.

  36. The Deluxe Edition is worth every penny! I'm still trying to understand the depth of Ravi's relationship with Jesus. The word "WOW!" comes to mind, but it's not good enough. The Theology DVD blew my mind and answered questions I've had. The additional stories and extras are wonderful. I've wept through all 3 movies in this trilogy. I use them for evangelism and encouragement in the Faith. Everyone I've shown them to has said great things about them. I'm thankful you all crammed so much God in.

  37. To those who were baptized in the name of the father, son, and holy spirit. What did you feel like afterwards? Was the hold of temptation to sin broken or at least weakened? Please answer honestly. Ty

  38. It's like the blond lady (Heidi Baker) said… You don't need to be clean, perfect and good and all that. You just need to come to him as you are… it's the beauty of grace. That's part of the gospel. It's not about being good.

  39. "God is good, he is extremely good, everybody wants a king like Jesus
They spread their tables for their gods, and i tell them that the christian God does it the other way round, he spreads the table for their children
And in other religions, the people seek god, in the christian faith God seeks man"

    Perfect for the ending!

  40. Darren Wilson was in my church today. Rhema in South Africa….we watched this during service and WOW!!! God taught me a lot about FAITH in this movie. Also that i need to love those that are not saved instead of judging them because Jesus embraces us even when we are full of sin…. Praise God….still teary and in awe

  41. Amen. When that man was saying that he doesnt care if he's politically correct, and that Jesus is the only way, I was so touched! If everybody in the the world knew this the world would be such a wonderfully place! I praise the lord every day for my salvation that he has given me. There truly is no other way, than Jesus.

  42. i typed "Revival brings salvation and remarkable healing" but i can't find it….:(
my son has add and high funtioning autism, bipolar and i have bipolar II and anger issues and panick attacks and PTSD etc…i would like to read your testimony

  43. I haven't seen the film… but I was wondering… do they ever talk even briefly… about repentance from sin. Yes God draws us with loving kindness… but the Word also talks about our responsiblity in repenting from sin. Jesus can not repent for us. The Word says repentance leads to salvation. When one truly receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior… which means allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us… we will cease from sin… why… because God is Holy and we are to be Holy also.

  44. Carol Dickinson: Your quote:"I haven't seen the film… but I was wondering… do they ever talk even briefly… about repentance from sin." Yes. In fact the meaning of repentance is doing a reverse or turning around completely. Turning away from the old to the Lord Jesus Christ is repentance as much as anyone can do. Turning away from sin and wickedness is repentance, no matter how you cut it. If this movie makes people turn away from sin…what is repentance more than that?

  45. "On Judgment Day many will say to Me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in Your Name and cast out demons in Your Name and performed many miracles in Your Name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’"–Matthew 7:22-23, NLT.

  46. Amen Carol! God does call us to repent… He extends the gift of a new life and we must crucify our old life in Him.

  47. It was just a personal revelation… but I believe it's scripturally sound. The Bible calls Jesus, "the desire of all nations," and if we embody who He is then people will desire the body too. They'll know we're His followers by our love!

  48. He doesn't mean "die" as in sacrificing himself and others to protect what he believes. He means that Jesus Christ is so true that he will willingly give his live to proclaim His love for others. I think this is the pinnacle of faith, and the most beautiful thing a person could ever say. John 15:13 There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.

  49. "Everyone wants a king like Jesus", yeah they wanted Him so bad they crucified Him. No what you mean is they all want the Jesus you are preaching.

    a paz
    Nay

  51. Eu comprei, e ele tem legenda em portugues. Eu tambem indico para todos que conheco. Paz. Quero os outros agora.

  52. what he means is that everybody wants a king like Jesus without knowing it. otherwise, why would he say everybody when everybody doesn't know Him? u can read the Bible for yourself and you'll be able to see what kind of Jesus he is preaching. and yes, I agree there's no one like Jesus!

  53. your comment proves 2 points

    1- u obviously don't know Jesus

2- you haven't read the whole Bible. first off, a lot of people continue to find contradictions in the Bible because they haven't read or analyzed the whole book, like you, they just take a verse out without studying it's full content. I suggest you read the whole Bible to discover things u don't know

    …….(to be continued)

  54. …(continued) Now, in response to ur comment, Jesus said these words because people didn't know/wouldn't accept who He was, so obviously they were going hate Him. If they knew/believed who He said He was, they would love Him. After all the people crucified Him because they didn't know nor believed who He said He was.

if u have or anyone have further questions, feel free to PM me.

  55. "You obviously don't know Jesus"…Be careful:
Matt 12:36 Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment

Jn 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Romans 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth.

"if you have any further questions, feel free to PM me"…Be careful:

James 3:1 Brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation

  56. Again, ur comment proves my point, u continue to take verses from the Bible and separate them from their context.

1- I wasn't judging u. judging=condemnation. I was just stating a fact. if ur shirt is yellow, I'll say it's yellow, I'm just stating a fact I am not criticizing u or anything like that. anyone can tell the difference.

2- I don't think anyone who reads/understands the Bible would think I'm pretending to be a "master" by inviting u to ask me questions.

  57. Lastly, u r not the first person that I, or any Christian, encounter that continues to take words out of context.

Please, educate yourself and read/analyze the Bible before responding with irrelevant answers.

Remember, just because u respond with verses from the Bible doesn't prove your point since you take the verses out of context. it just shows that u take a verse and make a unsupported argument.

  58. Google it and there is a short write up about it in World Revival Church's site. But a Facebook page claims it was featured on a Daystar show in Janury 23, 2010.
Tried to post link here, but youtube forbids posting of links.

  59. My husband, Stan Coates wrote a song "FATHER OF LIGHTS" that got him nominated for 3 Grammy's … You may want to hear it. 🙂

  60. Stop arguing about Bible just love all 8 billion people are completely different on this Earth and will read Bible verses differently but if you just love there's only one love. You can't go wrong, just love
