Interior Design Trends – New Stain and Paint Colors

[Music] It’s definitely an intimidating process to have to replace windows and doors throughout a home. The problem I find my clients have is not knowing which style to choose. Once we identify the architecture of the house it easily helps us define what we know we should choose. And once we have the theme of the house selected, that helps us decide on what color the windows should be. Espresso is so beautiful because it’s warmer than black. We are using so many dark windows in our homes right now. It’s something that people are really gravitating towards. It makes a beautiful architectural statement when you use a darker color on the window. I love the Wheat stain; it’s nice and soft. It could go with dark finishes, with light finishes. It’s a great medium that could work in a lot of different scenarios. We love this Skyline Gray. Gray has been around forever. I think it’s a trend that’s here to stay. The charcoal is softer than black. It works better with warm woods or travertines or warmer stones. I love this paint color Artisan Greige. It’s just a beautiful neutral that works with so many different finishes. It’s just timeless to me. It’s a beautiful color. I definitely feel that this color palette is here to stay. [Music]
