Me Grimlock Vlogging About TV, Episode 1: “Swoop, Do Interior Decorator Stuff!” (09/13/2011)

Me am TV Critic Grimlock. Me Grimlock say
welcome to very first edition of Grimlock’s new vlog. It called Me Grimlock Vlogging About
TV. Beginning of 2011 to 2012 prime-time fall
season mean me Grimlock begin posting new vlog on YouTube. Me Grimlock have been attacking
crappy TV shows on Grimlock’s Twitter page since last October. Me Grimlock thought it
time for Grimlock to go bare Grimlock’s fangs on YouTube as well. Look out, Hank Azaria! Me Grimlock must stop
you from killing any more TV shows not named Simpsons. Watch out, Maria Bello’s Prime Suspect hat!
Me Grimlock not have kind words for you, Maria Bello’s hat. Me Grimlock swipe that hat off
Maria Bello’s pretty head with Grimlock’s tail! Whoever told Maria Bello to put on hat
must be same person who told her it good idea to star in Mummy: Tomb of Dragon Emperor. Me Grimlock post new vlog about new or returning
TV shows every Tuesday and Friday. Me Grimlock wish me had fancier set, so me hope to work
on that real soon. Sludge, do construction with mud stuff! Swoop, do interior decorator
stuff! New prime-time fall season officially begin
tonight, September 13, 2011, with premiere of fall season’s first new network TV series.
It called Ringer. But if you am one of those viewers who prefer to watch TV on laptop or
smartphone or tablet instead of on ancient, prehistoric flat screen that gathering dust
in middle of your living room, then you must be one of many viewers who got early taste
of new fall season when Fox posted pilot episode of Zooey Deschanel sitcom New Girl on iTunes
and Hulu. Fox posted pilot episode several weeks before it even have broadcast premiere
on September 20. In New Girl, Zooey Deschanel playing dorky
young woman who turn to her three new and all-male roommates for help as she try to
make her way through wild jungle called dating scene. Her character Jess also got unhealthy
obsession with ’80s chick flick Dirty Dancing, as we see when she loudly bawling her eyes
out while watching DVD of Dirty Dancing. Me Grimlock wondering what kind of research
Zooey Deschanel did for her role as first mentally retarded female lead in TV history
outside of Snooki. Me Grimlock think it courageous for Zooey Deschanel to take on role of retarded
woman. She very good in her role. She much better at playing retarded than Juliette Lewis
in Other Sister. You know who also good actor in New Girl besides
Zooey Deschanel? Marble-mouthed deputy guy from Veronica Mars. He good as one of Zooey
Deschanel’s roommates. One of New Girl pilot episode’s best running jokes involve his character
and something called “douchebag jar.” Sorry, me Grimlock not bother to memorize name of
marble-mouthed actor. He probably named Mfwaf Mfwaffwwf. Me Grimlock not expected to enjoy pilot episode
of New Girl, but then me saw credits at beginning of pilot episode that said “Executive Producer
Jake Kasdan” and “Directed by Jake Kasdan.” Me knew right away that pilot episode gonna
be funny, and it did turn out to be funny. If you not familiar with movie work of Jake
Kasdan, he directed Walk Hard: Dewey Cox Story, one of funniest movies of last 10 years. Bottom line? If you not mind sitcoms where
lead character loaded with strange quirks like spontaneously singing TV theme songs
about herself, then you probably gonna enjoy New Girl. If New Girl not your cup of energon
tea, then me Grimlock know some Decepticons you could torture to death by exposing them
to pilot episode of New Girl. That all for this first episode of Me Grimlock
Vlogging About TV! Me Grimlock be back for episode 2 on Friday. Me Grimlock gonna probably
talk briefly about some other new fall shows and maybe some TV show news. Me Grimlock also
gonna most likely review series premiere of film-noirish CW soap opera Ringer, starring
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sarah Michelle Gellar. It kind of like that Jeremy Irons gynecologist
twin brother movie Dead Ringers, but without Jeremy Irons looking at some lady’s hoo-ha. Me Grimlock ending vlog!
