Minecraft Tutorial: Interior Design and Decoration #3

Minecraft Tutorial: Interior Design and Decoration #3

hey guys how’s it going
hope you’re good! Today we’re gonna be doing the interior of my modern house
number five if you haven’t built this house you could click on the little I in
the top right corner or you could just use some of my ideas for your own houses
so we’re gonna take a look inside and see what we’re gonna be building so I
actually went for a sort of a jungle theme as this house already incorporated
some jungle wood into the structure again a nice open-concept layout to make
this small house seem very big on the inside and then we go upstairs this
house only has one bedroom but I think it looks pretty cool you have these
jungle leaves and these nice paintings that enclose the bedroom and also those
two windows which help a lot so now we’re gonna get started assuming you
followed the tutorial correctly this is what you should have but as usual with
these videos we have to make some minor structural changes so we’re gonna go
over to these three windows and replace them all with grey concrete so now it’s kind of dark so we’re gonna
go over to the bottom right and make a four-block window and fill it in with
black stained glass panes and then we’re gonna go over to this window on the back
wall and just knock out one of the glass panes and replace it with gray concrete and the last thing we’re gonna need to
do is just extend this jungle plank wall to blocks so now we’re ready to start
decorating we’re gonna begin with the living room placing five jungle slabs
from the corner and then placing three on each side connecting it at the top and then in
this gap we’re gonna place black concrete so now this sort of simulates a
TV set now we’ll need a couch so we’ll use quartz stairs and going one from
each wall we’ll place for quartz stairs and then an open-ended one on the end
with a slab on the front and then we’ll make another open-ended stare on the
other side with another slab the next we’re gonna go behind this
couch knock out three blocks and place three blocks of glowstone with brown
stained glass on top so now we can move on to doing the kitchen starting by
placing four blocks of light gray concrete and then going across three and
then placing four above the window now we’re gonna replace this block with a
furnace and then we’re gonna go for to the end and replace this block with two
blocks of iron where we will put an iron door on the front to make a fridge then
we’re gonna replace one more block with a cauldron and a tripwire hook on top then for the
countertop I placed white carpet on the light gray concrete and then lastly for
additional storage I placed a chest in the corner so now we could get started
on the storage for this house going one block from the wall place four blocks of
jungle wood leave two spaces and then place four more blocks and then for the
shelves we’re going to use two rows of quartz slabs so underneath we’re gonna place
glowstone or sea lanterns as the chest will let light pass through so this will
just light up the room a bit more then I filled the shelves with chess if you
want this to be more decorative you can fill it with flowerpots or other
decorations but because I wanted this house to be as functional as possible I
filled it with chess I did not however place chests on the top then we’re gonna
place two torches around the storm and then we can move upstairs and work on
the bedroom so we’re gonna start by placing a column of jungle wood go over
to and place another color and then in between will also join it with jungle
wood place two black beds on the front then we’re gonna turn around knock out
two blocks replace them with glowstone or sea lanterns and then place a
painting on the front two quartz slabs go underneath the painting and then we’re gonna place two extra
jungle slabs here and then we will place 2 rows of jungle leaves on top this now
conceals the room a bit better while reinforcing the jungle theme on top of
this jungle wood I placed two flower pots with jungle saplings then moving
over to the right I placed a quartz block left a gap of two placed another
quartz block put a double chest in between then put flower pots on top of
the quartz blocks with jungle saplings and then a painting on top so now this
completes the bedroom and therefore the whole house so we’re gonna look at some
before and after shots just to see what a big difference we made so now
obviously this house has some nice terms as well as very functional storage which
means you could use this in a creative or a survival world I’d probably say my
favorite part of the house is the bedroom
those jungle leaves and the jungle theme really just makes it unique and
interesting and that’s it if you enjoyed the video

videos you can also drop a comment down below telling me what else you want to
