Senior Show 2014


[ Music ]>>Senior show is sort of like a capstone project.>>The public gets come and go through and see the
semester’s worth of work that each student did.>>Think about what’s important to you, what you like, what
your interests are, and then you kind of go from there.>>I want to create, like, a dark drama, so it’s based on
a guy named Marcus who kind of leaves his dark past behind. [ Music ]>>My business is called Larger than Little, and it’s
an online directory that supports small businesses. [ Music ]>>My project is about Nicaraguan subsistence design. It’s called lato [phonetic]. It’s a patio chair designed to
be part of Nicaraguan culture.>>My project is a corporate office design. I feel passionate about doing corporate design, and I like
figuring out office spaces, the
way people interact in the space. [ Music ]>>I actually started out as a freshman
at the University of Minnesota Duluth. It was a pretty good art school, but
it wasn’t what I was looking for.>>You know, [Inaudible], being a polytechnic school, we’ve
got so much hands-on training with, you know, camera
equipment and have so much access to
technology that it’s been really helpful.>>The level of skill and ability that you gain
from the professors here is almost immeasurable.>>I do feel that [Inaudible] has prepared me.>>Yeah, I feel very prepared for work after college.>>I think that [inaudible] fantastic
job for preparing me for the field.>>I’m ready. I’m ready more than ever now that I’ve taken this class. [ Music ]
