The Inner Decorator | Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai

You need two things to build a house: An architect and an interior decorator. Are they both same or different?
They are different! The outer Guru is a Sadguru,
He is an architect. The inner Guru is introspection,
an interior decorator. Just as you place a
sofa, furniture or TV; Similarly, you need to place kindness, peace,
equanimity, sacrifice, dispassion. If you set the virtues well, you will feel
great as soon as you enter the house. The house may be small. Sometimes, even small houses are
decorated so beautifully, That you like being there. Sometimes a house may be very large,
but you still do not enjoy it. Your Sadguru is your architect. But you are the one
who decorates the interior. Through your skill of introspection,
you will determine Your need for peace or dispassion. My devotion is lacking;
this corner of the house looks empty. This wall looks empty.
It means my devotion is lacking, That is why I am not enjoying
my spiritual practice. Knowing everything,
but not enjoying. Then I need to have a keen interest. That is what you have to do. The Guru is an architect,
but you are the interior decorator. You have to learn to decorate
your own home.
