  1. Okay, I take issue with this channel.
In your description, you say you are a channel sharing homes under 500 sq ft. Yet the description of this house says it is about 1300.
It is beautiful and may have once been a small schoolhouse, but this is larger than most starter homes.

  2. Adorable! What a fantastic cottage. I was amazed at how large the rooms were for an 800 s.f. house, as the initial description says…then I clicked on 'show more' and saw that it's 1300 s.f. A bit misleading. Nonetheless, I love it and could happily live there. 😘

  3. Beautiful…I could easily live here! Only the second bedroom would be turned in to a craft room and I'd sleep on the couch when I had overnight guests, so they could sleep in the bed. One question, though…where the heck was the bathroom?

  4. Love the house… but this is no tiny house this is a regular 1300 square foot house oh, so a bit misleading

  5. I would live in this house as long as there is a bathroom and a walk-in closet. Lol. It’s beautiful tho.

  7. The bathrm must be in an outbuilding. They are just as expensive as a regular 2 bdrm home. There is not any savings in these tiny houses.

  8. This cottage was featured elsewhere a few years earlier when it was for sale (for $423,000.) It was built in 1850 and was Beaufort’s first one-room schoolhouse located in the historic Point district. The address is 311 Laurens St. and at the end of the street on the water (#1 Laurens St.) stands the famous β€œBig Chill” house where that movie was filmed. I remember these photos from the listing when it was for sale – professional photography for listings often make rooms look larger than they actually are due to the wide angle lens.

  9. I grew up in an 888 sq ft house. I, my kid brother and grandmother and grandad all lived there. Oh, and there was only one bathroom.

  10. I got the impression there is not bathroom in the house and the last little building we saw was the outhouse…? The house itself is very nice and seems quite spacious, but like aforementioned by others – no floor plan shown and no bathroom shown…?
