Hi, I’m Garey Gomez. I’m a photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia specializing real estate,
architecture, and interiors. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been to the end of the internet and back, looking for helpful information on how it real estate and interiors. You probably came out learning a lot, but still wanting more. After trying just about every method out there, I’ve established a workflow for my photography that’s efficient and fast, and gets me the results I want every time I go out for a shoot. I created this tutorial series to help other real estate photographers achieve magazine-quality photos with a workflow that’s fast, efficient, and repeatable, so you can get the same results in every room you shoot. Using the workflow that I teach in this tutorial, I was able to cut my shooting and editing time in half, effectively doubling my rate. And best of all, the quality of my work improved, too, and that helped me get more work with the clients I want to work with and to shoot nicer listings. It also helped me get in front of architects and interior designers by improving my portfolio. After completing this tutorial, you’ll be able to go to your very next shoot and apply the methods you learn here, right away. In this comprehensive course on real estate photography, we’ll cover everything from the minimal gear I use, and basic camera settings, to advanced editing techniques in Photoshop. We’ll cover effective storytelling through composition, and my recipe to create really great lighting in every shot. And if you’re new to shooting with flash, don’t worry. There’s a special section just for you to bring you up to speed, so when we start our shooting lessons, you can hit the ground running. I’ve lined up a few different properties, where you’ll follow me as I demonstrate my workflow all the way through the editing and the delivery process. We’ll also talk about important topics on the business side of things, like contracts and pricing. Speaking of pricing, I created a simple budgeting worksheet that will help you understand your cost of doing business so you can set your pricing for profitability, and hit your income goals. I’ve done all the work to make this a simple process for you, and I’ll show you exactly how it works. You’ll also join me on a couple of interviews with real estate agents where we’ll get their take on the business of real estate, and how they use photography to differentiate themselves from their competition. My goal for this real estate photography tutorial is to provide you with a well-rounded set of tools, to help you easily and consistently create the photos that you’re excited about. For the price of one photoshoot, you’ll be able to apply what you learn right away, at your next shoot. I’m really excited about this tutorial series, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with you!
