Work Studies • Episode Four • Ashley Hanson

I really started designing at a young age where I would rearrange my room about 8,000 different times. And, I would draw floor plans at recess. I feel like I really understood my purpose and what I actually truly wanted to do. And not what everyone told me to do. I had always been told that I should be an accountant or that I should go into math and science. But, it really didn’t fuel my fire and make me so passionate about going into a class every single day. Just being around other like-minded creative people really made me flourish in this environment. And just having the ability to be a interior designer and create an area of comfort, create more of an experience. I think that is so beautiful.
